The deep connection between Lecco and its mountains is made inseparable by its geographical location. Situated at the foot of the Grigna, the city of Lario is the ideal starting point for those who want to try new "vertical" adventures on the rock face. This aptitude is also demonstrated by the history of our brand, marked by a deep mountaineering tradition and the formation of historic partnerships , such as that with the Ragni and the Gamma Group.
It is precisely to renew this deep bond between Lecco and its mountain culture that the city organizes the " Lecco Loves the Mountains " initiative every year, promoted by the Municipality of Lecco and scheduled this year for Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July 2021. This experience of rediscovering the territory will enliven the Lecco mountains with over 50 events aimed at all ages, conceived and created by local protagonists: from sports associations and volunteers to local farms and restaurateurs.
Rock Experience and the Maglioni Rossi couldn't miss this initiative, and they will be the protagonists of two events organized by Sport Hub (the official Rock Experience store) on Saturday and Sunday. This is a true climbing course open to all, where interested parties can take their first steps on the wall and become familiar with this fascinating activity. The event will take place on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th, with two three-hour sessions per day. The expert hands of Daniele Bianchi, Luca Gianola, and Francesco Castellano (on Saturday) and David Bacci, Giovanna Pozzoli, and Lorenzo Negri (on Sunday) will guide participants through climbing, with equipment and transportation provided by the organizers, for a 360° experience in contact with nature.
